I just have this feeling that the "big firms" don't get Operations. I had an interview with BearingPoint and it was a difficult interview with a Wonderlick test and an essay. They made me an offer but they low balled me. I REALLY want to get into consultanting but I felt BP low balled me.
Are the opening on the web site still available? What is the company like (pay, hours, and work load)? Do you think I would have a chance based on my background?
Just for your info my background is...
I have an engineering degree from Michigan State University...MBA from Notre Dame (Operations)...few years at Ford Motor and Toyota and a few years at General Dynamics.
Any advice? I would KILL to have a shot at an interview.
