I have a degree in Electrical Engineering, and am now completing a Masters degree in Operations Research. Ideally I'd like to be applying my strong quantitative background to management decision-making, but I'm not sure what type of companies (or positions for that matter) to look for.
I'm considering some of the bigger management consultancy firms, but I'm not convinced that they'll have me doing work I'll enjoy.
All applications I have submitted online thus far have not produced any results. I am starting to get confused and frustrated. Surely the management world can use more bright quantitative people? Where are the jobs?
I would appreciate any comments, help or suggestions.
