Information tech field with finance... |

I will be graduating from a respectable college with a degree in finance. However I really want to get into the information tech field. Before I go back to school to get an MBA with a concentration in MIS I wanted to know is it possible to land a job with an IT company and maybe get trained in IT?
Finance is a strong support but the job market wants us all to be securities brokers. |

is easily do-able.
A lot of the i-banks and the consulting firms have training programs to teach people I.T, but who have zero background in it. I definitely know the ibanks have it, and they'd love to have finance major come on board and help design their applications/systems.
...u should check out the website of these firms, and simply get in touch with them. Mind u, you may not be working with the most up to date technology (a lot of stuff for the ibanks may still be mainframe based), but it's a start to where u seem to want to go.
