Combining Accounting with IT |

I am an accountant with an IT background. Specifically, I have built databases in MS Access, developed a corporate intranet as part of cross functional development team, and acted as the finance department webmaster where I maintained the finance site on the intranet. I have also built some e-commerce sites as part of my formal IT schooling and have built some dynamic web applications on the intranet. In my next career/job I would like to transition more into the IT area but would like to continue using my finance/accounting background. I am a CPA and I also have an MBA. What suggestions or career avenues would you have for a transition that would work well in this difficult job market we are in? (besides not taking this approach) Thanks
