I will be graduating from a respectable college with a degree in finance. However I really want to get into the information tech field. Before I go back to school to get an MBA with a concentration in MIS I wanted to know is it possible to land a job with an IT company and maybe get trained in IT?
Finance is a strong support but the job market wants us all to be securities brokers.

you can ofcourse work in any IT consulting company and help them sell projects to financial clients. You can help the techies to architect solutions/ develop new applications for financial clients. Any understanding & contacts in the Fin Svcs industry will help. If you have any first hand exp as an intern or s'thing at a fin firm now is the time to use it.
