Java, C++ and XML are in demand, however the camps are split if certification is needed. Many people who gain certification cannot perform the task at a high level due to lack of experience

I appreciate the advice. I know it all comes back to the old catch-22 of need experience for job/need job for experience. If I had to just pick one or two (max) certs, which should I go for?
