The questions that you are asking depend on what type of consulting you are looking for, and of course each company may do things differently. I work for an Operations Improvement consulting firm that specializes in Lean Process Improvement and Six Sigma Quality. The way that we give our rates and information is through a meeting and drawing up a proposal.
