In comppanies there are managers and workers. How do the managers get that position? What majors are there for wanna-be managers in undergrad??? |

most cynics say that having your brain removed is the best way, though there is a school of thought which holds that pumping it full of silicon is (to fossilize it) is the best way. ;-)
Seriously, you might try to work in leadership roles. I started in a place which was just starting to automate, so I was the senior techie right away although I was appallingly ignorant. You can manage yourself. If you earn the rep of a self-starter who manages her/him/itself well someone may offer you the chance to manage another person.
That is how it starts.
