one month of looking per 10K of salary?
Maybe once upon a time but not anymore, not by a long shot particularly in IT consulting. If you are reasonable I would not expect much more than a month or two to find a six figure job.
Your resume was consulted 300 times in two months? Mine was consulted 300 times in two weeks.
As a side note a lot of consultants are over valued because of the internet boom. Check out the salary surves here on valult I think they are in line. If you are asking more than you see here, you are probably asking too much. |

If you are still on the beach after 2-3 months the market is telling you something. Hit the bookstorea and learn something new and/or drop your salary expectation. Or study job searching on the internet!
