I am a graduate who has been offered an Associate Project Manager position with a large, established IT company and an Analyst position with on the of the Big 5 Mgmt Consult. firms. I will be the only one starting as an Association PM. My question is which will offer me a better foundation to build my career? Is it true that PM are 'middle managers' and the first to go in a recession.
