In Reply To: The DC office has good people in it. Knowledgeable and nice. While NH is better than most, the key issue is with the corp office. Corp still thinks the world revolves around Atlanta, and corp is resistent to other offices growing up/becoming more independent. Individually, make sure you review the comp plan thoroughly. It sounds really good, but run realistic numbers for yourself. Chances are, you won't make what you're led to believe you're going to make. Compared to Big 4? Yes, there's usually no travel, but you'll still be working the long hours. So, would you rather be staying late at in-town client, and probably for less than you're making now? Are you willing to pay a premium to not get on a plane most weeks? Good luck.
Message: I was told that the base comp for a manager in ATL was 80-90. How does it compare in DC? Also, they mentioned that most people get a pretty good chunk from the utilization bonus. What has your experience with that been?
