In Reply To:	I am currently working in the SF Bay Area in software development (5 years exp) and am increasingly realizing that the company that I am working for is not capable of giving me the training and work related experience required to make me an effective manager and leader. I think that the contributors to this board have a broad range of experience, and I would be fascinated to know where everyone thinks is the best company for leadership development, particularly in the Bay Area. This is a question that has puzzled me, because there is much discussion of best companies for salaries etc.., but how about the best place to craft someone into a leader?
Message:	One word of advice- the best way to find the best companies for leaders is to allow yourself to be mentored by other leaders. Get involved with networking sites like linked-in and BlueChipExpert MOST importantly mentor other people- when you see other new folks coming up, mentor them.
