I've currently received offers for fresh graduate positions at
1)Deloitte Consulting (Officially Technology Integration, but partners and managers have told me that new graduates are expected to also work on Strategy&Operations & Human Capital engagements as well).
2)Capgemini Tech Consulting.
From what I've gathered, DC TI tackles more high level work, so no detailed nuts and bolt implentations and coding, whereas at Capgem, I'd probably expect to have to do a bit of that.
One of my worries is that at Capgem, i'd only be doing IT Consulting, when I also would definitely like the chance get to experience Strategy & Ops type work too.
Although currently Capgem's offer is slightly higher.
On a side note, does anyone know if DC or Capgem has a tendency to low-ball offers for graduates?
Thanks. Any opinion would be good. |

Currently working for Capgemini US, it is definitely a IT sweat shop. Very few opportunities to work in Strategy.
