I have gone through 5 interviews with this company and was impressed with the people I met. I am going through the process with the West-coast office in Orange, CA. Got my offer but it is 10k less than my current salary.. Does this happen often? What is a reasonable salary range for someone going into the Oracle division for consulting? I am functional/technical with focus on Order Management/Fulfillment modules. One intense year with Oracle Apps and 6 years total in development.
Even with 5 excellent interviews and my current salary information, they still offered 10k less than my current industry job. The position is for a C2 consultant.
Are they playing a recruiting game or something? Any ideas? |

is start negotiating. They are pretty far downstream with you and they can always find a little wiggle room. If you say 10K more they may say 5 or 7 oth throw a sign on bonus your way. You negotiate your best, one and only deal, going in. Once you're there it's usually too late. Just my .02
