On the offer letter with the firm, it stays that the firm will do a reference check, drug test, and a background check...but the letter said nothing of doing a college degree verification (because, really the position does not require a college degree).
So my question is...does a background check automatically consist of a college degree verification...or if the firm was going to do a college degree verification, they would have included that in the offer letter as a condition of employment?
And how long does a background check normally take to conclude?
