I work at Adjoined in our New York Office and have for a few years. The ongoing conversation on this board between mild mannered reporter and Corpliai has definitely caught my attention! The two of you suggest to us that you are speaking from experience with Adjoined and, while I mean no disrespect to either of you, the things you are conveying as facts are just plain not true. I won??t say that I can accurately argue revenue figures, organic-versus-acquired growth stats, or the VC rumor mill but your basic information is incorrect and misleading to folks that may be considering joining the company.
Just to touch on a few. I was with one of the elite strat houses you mention in your posting before being recruited to Adjoined and I have no regrets at all about my decision. I have a great job, I get to work with talented people and I do interesting work for my client. On my latest project, I have been working for 6 months with 12 other Adjoined professionals at a major CPG brand. Right now we have around 70 people in our New York office (actually located in 10 Exchange Place in Jersey City) and our office does project work for major banks, life sciences and CPG companies. Kevin Reid heads up our office and Adjoined??s Business Intelligence and Enterprise Architecture group and was recently PROMOTED to CTO.
You are entitled to your opinion and to the animosity if you feel your experience was bad at Adjoined but when representing ??facts?? you should refrain from fabricating information. This exchange is for professionals seeking career advice not for personal vendettas ?? Perhaps you are not former employees- but recruiters from another company trying to discredit us at Adjoined and if that is the case you undermine the value of this exchange.

Am not a former member of your firm and am definately not a recruiter. You obviously didn't read the post and figure it out and I'm not going to waste the time to instruct you. I'm seeking strategic insight. EOD
Second, your criticsm of the post as interfering withthe Board's purpose....if you are soooooo happy at your firm and if you suggest the Board is for professionla advise and counsel......why are you even looking at this Board. This Board, I assure you serves a lot greater role than counseling young kids.
Nevertheless, your opinion was refreshing to read.
