I'm an experienced information technology specialist with over 6 years experience including some IT consulting work. My specialties are databases, data architectures and information warehouses for financial companies.
I'm looking for a new consulting contract. A few consulting companies and recruiters have asked me if I have "Actimize" on my resume. (Kinda a dumb question. If they have my resume they should what's on it and what's not.)
I didn't know what "Actimize" was. I researched it on the net and now I'm still not sure. Are they a software company? Are they a financial consulting company? This buzzword seems to be popping up all over the place. How do I get this buzzword on my resume? Do hiring companies give training in this? Do I have to go work for "Actimize" as an employee?
What's the story. Anybody have this experience, then let me know more. |

Some of the consultants here at Adjoined do Actimize, tho we have been mostly hiring contractors to do it. I'm a little peev'ed off that they are sending contractors to training and not us, since Actimize is getting to be such a hot skill. Still, the inside consultants here will probably end up managing the outside contractors, so there definitely will be some opportunies to get some Actimize experience under our belts.
