I've been offered a job as Consultant - Systems Integration with Infosys Technologies. My basic understanding of the profile is working on large projects that involves architecture design and sizing, migration, BCP, Disaster Recovery etc. Since this involves travelling to customer sites and staying there for complete duration of project, I'm worried that this is more of "cheaper body shopping". Is my worry justified? Can someone suggest the pro & cons of this job. I'm presently working for a smaller company with more authority/power and more responsibilities but lesser pay.
