In Reply To: I don't know of any truly (Let's place emphasis on the word TRULY.) charitable organization that would fulfill your goodwill needs and give you a decent salary. I would suggest you keep doing what you're doing and look to perform community work in addition to your regular work. If you co-founded a successful company, you might want to use it to help your community. Think tax write-offs, exposure and the potential for more business. Everyone could win out. Hey, this is America. For a case study, look at a company called BlackBaud. It was started by a couple of guys about 20 years ago and now has almost 1,000 employees. Both the company and the employees contribute to local causes in the Charleston area. Check out the Philanthropy section on their WEB site. By the way, I don't and never have worked for them, I just happen to know of their work and it seems to be an appropriate case study for the question at hand. Good luck.
Message: Will do.. However, I am still on my pursuit of companies/people that are going to change the way the world works.. Wish me luck..
