In Reply To: TO BE PROFESSIONAL, YES, YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR POTENTIAL EMPLOYEE, BUT AFTER YOU GET THE OFFER. IF YOU TELL BEFORE, IT MAY SUB-CONSCIESLY INFLUENCE THE DECISION-MAKER'S MIND ABOUT YOU. GET THE HOOK IN FIRST, THEN YOU CAN CASUALLY MENTION YOUR MATE.
Message: Please press it. Also, for the girl here, don't tell them. Find out if the employer has a "romance policy" in their handbook that states they can fire you for dating an employee or supervisor. Believe me, they exist. If they do, you are on the horns of a dilemma. You could try to hide it. But that never works, one co-worker will see you at the mall together and suddenly your lunch conversation fodder.
