I'm writing an article on office romance and I'm interested in talking with people who are involved or have been involved in a romance at work. In particular, I'm interested in how you handled the situation in relation to your co-workers -- did you keep it a secret, did you tell the boss, how your friends at work react, etc.

I dated a coworker for 2 years, primarily for the wrong reason-- I was horny. I did not tell anybody we were dating at work . Ladies, sorry for this remark but I am quite sure she told every female coworker she knew despite the fact she agreed to keep it a secret.
At around the 2 year mark she was hinting marraige. we broke up. Avoided each other like the plague and it was lucky we worked at a big company so it was easy to do so. saw her about a a year later at a company party with a rock on her finger.
I think i would do it again. where the hell else are you going to meet responsible,financially secure, intelligent woman that in effect have been pre-screened by Human Resources !! I just was not ready to settle down at that point in time or maybe i just didnt love her enough.
