I work as a researcher for an online company. I got involved with a co-worker to find out I had become pregnant just a few short weeks after being involved with this person.
The other parties employment status deteoriated, where as mine did not. I currently still work for the same company from home so I am able to care for my child.
The father and I are no longer together; infact our personal relationship today is not what I wanted.
I know that some people still talk about today (my child is now 18mths old).
How do I deal with having to raise a child from home and still keep the respect from my in-office co-workers even though I'm not part of the daily office activities?
I still want to be apart of what goes on in the office; but still remain at home doing my job.
Can someone give advice.

I understand your situation, and it is very difficult to deal with such problem you have.
I have one general advise, and I hope it helps a little. Please be strong, and disregard what other says. No matter what happened, there are people respecting you, to which you don't notice it. What you see is those who create rumors. Be as usual at work, and things like this will fade into clouds slowly.
I know it's easy to say, but I really wanted to help you. Wish you all the best, although I do not know you personally. Take care!:)
