One of my co-workers pursued me endlessly. He would drop by and bring little treats, a muffin, a free pass somewhere, even a treat for my dog. I resisted for a long while and finally agreed to go to lunch. It was NOT a date, just two people going to lunch. YEAH, RIGHT! Soon, we were having lunch together every day and getting together after work a few times a week. We were in different departments and the girls in my department kept asking me who he was and why he stopped by so much. Well, it didn't take long for me to admit that we were dating. Being in different departments, no one seemed to mind. In fact, most of my female co-workers cheered me on as he was quite cute. Well, six months later, I'm no longer at the company, but we're still together. I never thought I'd be the type but once we started, there was nothing sweeter than going to lunch and anticipating the elevator ride back to work.
