Please don't bother to respond if you're just some moralist, but I have a practical question. My boss, who is somewhat attractive and desirable, has strongly implied that if I sleep with her she will see to it that I will get a raise. I'd like to sleep with her, and I'd like to get a raise so it seems like a no-brainer. But I am somewhat concerned, as I will have to be working closely with her in the future. I've had enough complications from sex in my life to know that at work it will probably be worse. Also, if the story gets out there could be other ramifications. Should I risk it? |

The End: you will have to leave the company before you two break-up.
Modus Operandi: deepen the conversation with her, both professionally and personally, make her admit that you deserve your raise and promotion regardless of your sexual skills. Do make her admit that although you are both attracted to one another (straight face please) it is generally considered not a good idea to get involved. Make sure you getr a raise and promotion BEFORE consummating the act. Do not consummate the act until you are ready for move #2.
Move#2: In this part of your mission you have to make sure that she helps you (with her connections, recomandations etc...) to change job into a different company with a promotion and more money, the official excuse will be that you were too bright and had max out on the growth path.
Once into the new company, you can be on each others' short call list, and call each other when in need of a quick-fix.

Key things: Do take photos, movies are even better, if only photo possible do record audio. Do it in the office in-between meetings. In order not to raise suspicion have her pay for dinners etc.. with the corporate credit cards.
