In sizing up the experiences as to sex in the office so far, it seems that you have to be careful for starters about guards, video cameras, coworkers walking in, coworkers asking questions later, carpets, cheap candles, smoke alarms (I am still laughing about that one), workers without a sense of humor, bosses who are that way, and the stories keep growing. Is this life in the fast lane (by some), or no lane at all (by many others). Interesting stories for sure.

The saying that you shouldn't shit where you eat is vulgar but true. And I hate to say it, but this applies more strongly to women (the same sexual double standard exists inside the office as exists outside), because if it's common knowledge at a firm that a woman is sexually involved with someone who works with her in a supervisory capacity or who can otherwise influence her career path, every promotion she ever earns is going to be tainted. Nobody's going to remember her iron-clad work ethic, or her fabulous negotiating skills--they'll just think she slept her way into the corner office, and her reputation will precede her to other jobs. Believe it.
