Working for an appliance manufacturer I was assigned a drafting assistant that was one hot number. I was immediately inticed by her demeaner, her dress, her approach to me - always with a twinkle in her eye, hike in her shirt as she sat down with me. Of course her story was her boy friend, father of two of her three kids, was neglecting her and she was leaving him. I was naturally the type of guy she always wanted. After a year or so of intimate discussions and leading situations we had occassion to travel together.
That set off a torrid romance that lasted nearly two years. When it was apperent she was not actually leaving Chuck, I broke ranks as I was starting to ascend in the management ranks. Well, she saw it as an opportunity to strike a blow for revenge. Still trying to maintain a civil friendship, I was led into a role of culprit that she painted to HR with the help of two other co-workers now intangled in her long legged web.
No matter how great the sex, how hot the partner, office romance comes with great risk. If acused, you are guilty and have to prove innocence - not an easy thing to do if you were not playing the correct game.
