Just have to chime in on this one. Someone wrote in an earlier post (before it all got so silly and sordid) about how small this world is, implying that we can't escape our actions.
Here's a little tale to amply illustrate the point. A friend of mine, while in B-school and in a tuition crunch, did the high class escort service for a few weeks. A couple of years later, she was working for Goldman when who should she run into but one of her "johns," this time as the major player in an underwriting GS was doing at the time. She was mortified. He was unmarried and told a number of people about their encounters, who knows why, maybe to demonstrate what a big swinging dick he was. Seems to me it would have the opposite effect but I'm a woman, what do I know...
Anyway, she quit. Works in non-profit now somewhere in the midwest. Yuck.
