Ihis is in response to Disgusted. I was in his/her position once and unfortunately it was my first job so I did not even recognise the warning signals. The boss was the head of a USAID project and he was having an affair with his secretary. She was promoted to management level, sent on an -illegal - masters scholarship to his university fow which he did most of the work. A MD position at a sub-project was kept vacant for her for the time she was studying. To top it all her brother was given a job, a car and other beenfits. She finally managed tomarry him - he did his best to wiggle out of it though but got trapped. They deserve each other. Imagine the disillussionment- right out of college and fairly naive/dumb? After 7 years I have come to the conclusion if you are only interested in good work then start your own business. At least the crap you take has a payoff. As for Disgusted the only solution is to find another job.
