Why are so many employers absolute stupidass, ignorant assholes??? For example, here is a description of a job I had last year: I was employed by a cleaning firm which has contracts with many major retailers in my area. From the word GO, my boss was a total, flat-out, absolute jerk & ignorant asshole to boot. First complaint: my off day was listed on the schedule. I took off according to the schedule, and the next day my prick bossman asked me WHERE WERE YOU LAST NIGHT? YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO WORK. Turns out some scrub employee played goldbricker that night & my boss expected me to fill in for the jerk - however THE ASSHOLE FAILED TO CONTACT ME to ask me to come in to work that night! What the hell does he think, I'm Jeanne Dixon & have ESP or something???
Next, the same crap happened with my off days FOR THE NEXT THREE WEEKS. When I'd report to work the following day/night, my boss or a fellow worker would say "You were supposed to work last night. Where were you??" Like, I'm some sort of retard or something???
Even worse, the ignorant scrubs I worked with were always goldbricking & slacking off, acting like high school kids at a summer job. One jerk in particular always seemed to know how to press my anger button - he would make comments like "You're doing that wrong," or "Don't forget to do this/that/etc" or "Wille [the bossman] said you were messing up on this/etc." I mean, this jerk seemed to be always trying to push me over the edge & cause a confrontation. Several times I almost grabbed a vacum cleanner to slam across his face:p)
What I want to ask is, why are some employers such total, incompetant assholes????
The name of the company was Wilson Janitorial Specialists BUT it would have been more correct to call it Janitorial Amateurs Assholes Company!!!! God, that was the worst, most stupidest mornic job I ever had the displeasure of having!!! The boss was a total f#$king moron!!!!
I would enjoy hearing other workplace horror stories, from anyone out there.

Hey,
Don't feel bad. I "had" a boss that would instruct me to produce parts that had defects so that "he" could make his required dollars for a particular week. Well, I would tell him that the parts were out of spec. and he would insist that I run them anyway. Then, when $50K worth of parts were returned by the customer for being defective, he would blame me in meetings for running them. Well, the last time, he made the mistake of telling me to run bad parts, on an email message and I printed it out. I ran the parts, they were returned, he blamed me, I made copies of the email for all the VP's and he was fired.
