True Sunny. Office politics are especially prevalent in new media/internet companies.
Peversely, these politics are the very thing that also downgrade the productivity of these companies and lead to high turnover rates. |

It's not what you know it's who you know. End of story. I surely hope that 2000 brings about more intelligent managers and directors in companies than thoes I encountered in the 1990's. Rude bosses give companines a bad name. It's all counter productive and makes most companies go down hill. Where do all these rude people come from? Hope 2000 finds them out of our lives!!! You all are truely blessed to be aware of this. No wonder companies are forced to deal with unions. Maybe more of us will organize against these creeps and fieght to keep our respect for ourselves and make them realize how disgusting they are. Why slave our lives away working for next to nothing and taking insult after insult as well from these bullies? A Union can and does salve our problems with the rude bosses. No doubt they hate to think of such a fate, but it's our work that makes it happen not their commands and selfish habbits. A job should be loved and the people we work with should be human and kind not money hungry creeps ready to fire us just because we are smarter and nicer than they are. Let's organize our work places to make life better for the workers in 2000. Thank you for you words of wisdom. Stuggle on and when it doesn't feel right remember you can and should unionize.
