Hi,
I have got an offer for a VP role at Morgan Stanley Technology area-Retail side. What is the salary range for VP's with 15 years exp and what was the bonus % for 2005. They are offering me 125K and are not willing to commit to any bonus. Should I proceed forward?. How is the technology group?. Some people are trying to discourage me that it is a sweat shop. Is that so?. Any input is greatly appreciated. |

Overall my experience with MS has been pretty good. You have to decide what offer is the best for your future. As far as MS not doing that well in retail, MS recently elected Gorman from Merrill Lynch to head retail. He is in the process of making significant changes to the overall well being of MS. Overall Morgan Stanley is a very promising bank, and I would recommend any intelligent individual to consider MS. Please keep in mind the same individuals who are upset with MS, are usually the same people who aren't offered jobs within Morgan Stanley.
