What is the range of salary increases for VPs at Morgan Stanley? Also, how much does the salary go up after you make ED? I'm a first year VP (joined from another firm) and was making $125K, got bumped to $130K for this year. Thanks! |

Base salaries are pretty rigid and from my eperience at the firm, MS likes to pay less Base so they can screw you more on bonus. From an accounting standpoint departments are charged for a persons time. There is a standard rate for each level.
VP = 250 K
ED = 500 K
MD = 1000 K
From my experience I find that total comp of individuals in these categories averaged below these marks. Base salary for ranges I saw were
VP 120-150
ED 140-175
MD 150-200
