I got an offer for SDE at Search group and another great offer for entry-level consultant at a top management consulting firm. I am having a really hard time to decide. Any recommendations and comments on consulting and software industry will be grately appreciated!
And I am wondering, is MSN Search a good group, in terms of future career path and compensation, compared to other groups like Office or Windows?

As I understand it, which probably isn't very well, group doesn't matter that much in terms of career path and compensation, except that working in bad groups is good for your ratings (no, really) since people tend to change groups every 3-5 years anyhow.
I have heard that MSN is one of the more coveted groups to work for, though.
