Hi,
I am currently interviewing with Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, UBS & Bear Sterns.
I am leaning towards Merrill, bcs I feel its a better fit for me. But, the goal that they have for me, depending on the location of the branch is between 15-20 million must have between 18-24months.
Through cold calling and opening 80-150 accounts within 2 years, is this 15-20 million dollars realistic?
What is the success ratio of new FA's makeing this goal??
Please advise, need to pick one soon. |

Sorry I don't have an answer about 15-20 million being realistic or not but I do have a couple questions for you if you don't mind. I want to transition into an FA position with ML from my existing job as a Loan Officer. Any information you can give me about applying and interviewing would be very beneficial.
1) How did you apply with ML? Were they hiring or did you just send your resume?
2) Do you know if there is a starting salary?
3) What do you do now (are you in financial services now)? Have an MBA or 7?
4) Was there any testing involoved in your interview (heard UBS makes all applicants take a math test)? If so what do I need to brush up on to pass it?
Thank you for any information you can give.
