I am currently looking at a position as financial advisor at Merrill. I wanted to know if Merrill will help you with leads or do you have to completely find them on your own. Also I do not have an extensive network of people with wealth. Is there anyway to survive at Merrill today by pure prospecting and cold calling? |

There are several lead companies that you can contact for investor leads. Also, if you work for Merrill, then they should provide you with the leads. You should contact your branch manager.
Also, question, it seems that you are knew, I am aslo interviewing with Merrill, Smith Barney, UBS, Bear Sterns. I am leaning more towards Merrill and Smith Barney. The goal to accomplish within 24months, is 15 million to 20 million, depending on the location of the branch.
My question, is the 15 million that Merrill requires, realistic?? Without haven't the connection.
