do you think it was an isolated incident or just catching people on a bad day? or have you heard other people say the same thing? also curious as to which banks you were impressed with in LA. thanks much. |

Everyone that interviewed in the group of applicants that I was in thought the same thing (8-10 people). I do not think it was an isolated incident--I have a friend who is currently an analyst there and he is feeling the wrath of the LA office (suffice to say, I do not think he will be staying for a third year). The best banks in terms of people are:
1. JPM
2. Bear
3. GS
I really liked the majority of people at these three. There are a lot of good people at CSFB too but it is the largest LA firm and I have only met about 10 out of the 70 or 80 bankers who work there so I am not sure about the others.
