I have an interview with ML's LA office (I-Banking). Anyone have insights on the culture, people, type of deals, industry groups in LA? thanks. |

Just be ready to get your ass handed to you. I inteviewed with every BB in LA and ML was by far the worst. Not only difficult and confusing questions but the people were just plain mean and try to get you pissed off. After the interview, I had no desire to work for them. If you have the opportunity, I would say to try for ML Palo Alto instead--the culture is much better (the LA people refer to it as ClubMed). Make sure you are ready to hate life for a couple years before signing with ML LA!
