In Reply To: Hi seihin, Yes, i have found it quite tricky to try to place myself within industry as well. Even with specialisations in supply chain management, there are few places to fit in especially if you don't have the industry experience to back up your years of academic insight. Anyway, i am actually quite surprised to hear that McK allowed so much flexibility in their start date. I have been holding back on applying because i will only 'finish' end of the year (if all goes to plan and the overseas examiners do their job efficiently). I would most likely not be able to start till later in the year or early next year. How fast does Mck process applications and how efficient is their interviewing schedule? Bottomline: How long is Mck willing to wait for you to finish your thesis? Cheers. :)
Message: They waited over a year for me; mind you, that was a long time ago. They also gave me pretty much an indefinite period to decide whether to accept the offer. And, I even took time off after defending to travel for a few months (spending my signing bonus).
