First, your school seems to be starting the season sorta late, even for summer hires. What school?
I think you give these firms too much credit. They probably just saw in your school's career databse that you had done consulting, saw your name in the consulting club, saw your geographic reference, etc. I seriously doubt your prior MC exp had anything to do w/ it, and your mck exp certainy didn't. |

As it is a 1-yr program, the recruiting season is late compared to the 2-yrs MBAs. This is actually a difficulty for those of us who want to work in the US: we have to start on our own a little before the "official season".
