Accenture has the same up or out policy as Mckinsey so I would be slated to get promoted to senior manager in 2 years or less (1 level beneath the Senior Executive/Partner level at Accenture) since I got credit for additional work experience. So basically I would be a senior manager when I apply to Mckinsey. |

McKinsey VERY rarely hires EMs from the outside. The entry level is at associate and I would guess 95%+ of consultants join at that level. About half of those are non-MBA (experienced hires).
If you want to join McKinsey you should do it now as an associate. You can affiliate to the healthcare practice from early on if you want to.
