Topic Name: 3 yrs of I-banking enough for Associate in McK Corp. Fin. dept

In Reply To: Looking at the McK stats - about 8% of consultants have an undergrad degree as the "highest level of education". Therefore I guess its difficult but not impossible. About 46% have an MBA. In particular for some of the practices, your experience is enough - in London I know people who have joined the corporate finance practice as junior associates with 3 years experience in banks (from undergrad). The US doesn't have a JA position so it might be trickier there
Message: my guess is that the 8% would strongly correspond to BAs on DTA path. And with JA role not a possibility in the US, unless the OP is willing to start back as BA, he would need an MBA.
