Does company size matter? |

I didn't get invited to an interview due to lack of specific consulting experience. I have my MBA from The University of Akron, where McKinsey doesn't recruit and 2+ years of experience with boutique market research consulting firm as project manager and analyst.
I have several offers now with mid size and Top 100 consulting companies that I am considering. If in 3-4 years from now I want to reapply to McKinsey, what do you think is the best way for me to choose now?
- mid size consulting company where I can build a success-track with small and medium size companies
- big consulting company wher I can advance from an associate to consultant role
- big non-consulting company where I would be working as an analyst/internatl consultant
Any advice is appreciated. Unless I end up in a job that I wouldn't dream of leaving in the next 5 years, I do plan on reapplying.
