I don't see why this is a problem for you. If your offer letter states that either you or the company can back out any time, then there is no ethical issue. I would write a thoughtful letter to the manager who hired you and accept the McK offer if that is what you want. |

It is different for for example Penn Undergrads which are bound by strong ethical standards at the university to stop recruiting completely after accepting an offer.
Since for you this is much more an individual thing which does not impact the opportunities or prestige of your institution as much you should just go for McKinsey.
