In Reply To: Got an offer from McK, but cannot accept it... I'm an APD, searching for a job for the first time. Was offered another job in Dec and couldn't extend the deadline. Fearing for not having a job after graduation, I accepted it. The offer letter says that either the company of myself can back up at any time. But I think it would be very unethical to do so. I like McK and the position here SO MUCH MORE though. So if I work in the other firm for a couple of years, would I still have a chance to come back and work in McK? Any advice or suggestions would be highly appreciated! Thanks~~
Message: I don't see why this is a problem for you. If your offer letter states that either you or the company can back out any time, then there is no ethical issue. I would write a thoughtful letter to the manager who hired you and accept the McK offer if that is what you want.
