In Reply To: I got an offer from a second-tier management consulting firm in Germany (90K EUR salary + bonus+ relocation from US to Germany) for a consultant position. The package doesn't include health insurance. With the high cost of health insurance in Germany and high tax rates, this doesn't look like a good deal. Does McK package in Germany include health insurance? I would apreciate any thoughts on compensation Germany. Thanks!
Message: i dont know what position exactly you are applying for, em or below: 90 k doesnt sound bad to me at all. health insurance isnt all that expensive, either. since your employer will cover half of the fees, with a private insurance you shouldnt pay no more that MAX. 150-200 euros a month. that covers everything you would ever need. there are several companies that offer quite different packages, go for a smaller one, they are usually cheaper with same value. cheers from germany
