Thanks a lot for the advice and annecdotes. Clearly, summer business analyst positions at McK are extremely competitive.
Are summer BA positions at other firms as competitive? I also applied to BCG (which like McK interviews 60 Penn students), Bain (interviews about 90 Penn students), and Monitor (interviews about 30 Penn students). |

The McK summer BA is about the most competitive program I've seen as far as sheer numbers, i think they gave interviews to about 25 ppl with probably 250-300 resume drops (estimation)
BCG gave out like 100 interviews at Stanford and I think they have considerably more slots than McK.
