did not understand your last sentence in your post. sounded like you had light phone screens after going through final rounds in another office.
is it more like you did these initial phone screens, then went on to additional rounds in another office? did you rec an offer? |

Ya, it was a bit unique - but I did have my phone interviews after my final rounds. I went through the entire recruiting process in my "home city's" office. During the final rounds I expressed my strong interest in a specific nature of work/discipline. Final rounds went well and my office recommended me to a group in another office that specialized that area of interest. So I went through a few phone interviews with people from that group. They probably would have been in-person interviews, but I was under some time pressure to get a final decision so I asked to expidite the process and luckily they were able to accomodate me.
Fortunately, the whole process led to an offer (and acceptance).
