This is a general question in regards to investment banking and consulting firms.
How does the salary for Americans who graduated in the US and go work for a Goldman Sachs or a McKinsey in HongKong or Beijing compared to New York?
Might they be the same? |

Not sure about China offices but for other NE Asia offices, I've heard that pay for starting McK associate is higher than N America associates. This was not the case but due to the weak dollar recently, the salary for NE Asia associates other than China is ~%5 more than N America McK associates (As we know, RMB is pegged to dollar).
