Can you honestly tell me problems and issues faced by a company in Hong Kong is radically different from a similar company in the same industry based in Tokyo? In the same vein, do you think that there is a difference between top 6 management consulting firms in what they do? Its the partners that profit and everyone else loses, including BAs. I bet if you polled c-level execs and asked them to rate management consulting firms, often cited 'MCK/B/B' will not hold water. In terms of revenue per consultant, McKinsey was not head of the pack by a long shot. |

I question the legitimacy of your claim that you work for the firm but, if so, then I suggest you guys look around a little bit and try to learn outside your project work. McKinsey has a number of research centers and knowledge libraries just waiting for you to tap. Make sure you use these resources effectively to really take full advantage of your time there.
