With that said mfgman, do you know anything else about PSDC? The stuff out there in the public domain is limited, and I'm trying to get a sense of how (and to what extent) PSDC people differ from generalists. |

The staffing depends a lot on availability of studies, but the priority would be manufacturing studies followed by Ops studies. This assumes you are applying to the Manufacturing practise of PSDC (and not Service Operations). PSDCs almost never get staffed in non-Operations studies.
Difference between PSDC and BA ==> PSDC in path for Specialist instead of Associate and you do not go back to do your B-School, in principle pretty similar to a DTA (Direct to Associate).
